Mediation Process

When choosing to engage Forshaw Lawyers Mediation Services, you will be part of a simple, clear and formal process to ensure rapid resolution.

STEP 1

Complete our online easy-to-use Parties Information Form to allow us to gain a complete understanding of all parties involved.

STEP 2

Our family dispute resolution practitioner will email party A with information as to Family dispute resolution, time frame, regulations, intake assessment for completion and other important information.

STEP 3

Our family dispute resolution practitioner will speak to party A and assess suitability for Family Dispute resolution

STEP 4

Party A to make a deposit of $440.00 which will be the costs of their share of a parenting mediation

STEP 5

Our family dispute resolution practitioner will email party B and invite them to Family dispute resolution and include time frame, regulations, intake assessment for completion and other important information

STEP 6

Our family dispute resolution practitioner will speak to party B and assess suitability for Family Dispute resolution

STEP 7

If Family dispute resolution is suitable – this will be arranged as soon as possible taking into our flexible hours and Saturday mediations

STEP 8

Party B to pay their share being $440.00 for parenting matters, $660.00 for property/parenting

If Family dispute resolution is not suitable then a s60i will be issued and the $440.00 deposit will cover the costs of that certificate.
